Mr Chris *Honey* Hoenig- your thoughts are sweet. You are correct- Germany has SO much Typography to YET gift to the world- we are very ignorant of the huge artistry of Germany- especially those who have been and returned feeling culturally short-changed by the UK-US. It is a fact- we have no high civilization like Europe and its heart- Germany.

I spent weeks in Bavaria just photographing the fontography of local shops and houses. Those interested can search Flickr for "Bauernmalerei". I never got to Central Germany or the North- there was simply too much art.

I was looking for fonts with flowers around them like the ones in old bibles so pretty this was the close and free
